young backpackers homestay is a mix between airbnb/hostel/hotel/private houseing ... best for young uncomplicated backpackers and people who like to meet other people from all over the world. if you want to be by yourself and have a quiet time, this is maybe not the best place to stay ... also people who want a clean kitchen and bathroom i cant promise it because also other people use it and i clean it once a day.

- YOUNG UNCOMPLICATED BACKPACKERS only between 18 AND 40 years
- UP TO 25 OTHER GUESTS IN THE HOUSE, AND I LIVE HERE TOO.
- NO KIDS
- NO PETS
- NO GROUP BOOKINGS max 2 people.
- PARKING 15$ per night, upon request.
- SAUNA 15$ EACH PERSON until 22:00.
- WHIRLPOOL 15$ EACH PERSON until 22:00.
- PLEASE CLEAN the bathrooms and kitchen after you used it.
- 10 METERS OF STAIRS to walk up to the entrance door.
- ONLY GUESTS who have a booking are allowed in the house.
- CCTV FOR YOUR SAFETY IN COMMON AREA, of course not in your rooms and bathrooms.
- CHECKING 16:00 - 22:00... if you want to come earlier its no problem, if i still sleep or not here you can just go in to the main door and drop your bags in the livingroom. please let me know per whatsapp. the room and beds will be ready after 16:00. Better plan to come before 22:00 out of respect to the neighbors and the other people who are allready sleeping in the dorm. Because of that we do not offer checkins after 10pm.

I'm really easy going but there are
7 SUPER SIMPLY GOLDEN RULES

1. WATCH THE VIDEO - READ ALL OF THIS INFORMATIONS - WRITE ME IN WHATSAPP For Example (MY NAME : RAINER KARNOWSKI - FREE BUSTICKET/DISCOUNTCARD - ARRIVING 01.01.2020 )

2. SILENCE AFTER 22:00 The house and surounding must be quiet after 22:00 (10pm) public spaces and terasse/outside is closed. Please respect my neighbors and other guests who need there sleep. if you want to party and chat late in to the night you must go to the bars or clubs in the city.

3. RESPECT THE NEIGHBOORHOOD Please do not ring doorbels or walk on the propperty of my Neighbors or Fly the Drone in the area... Thanks

4. NO DRINKING, EATING, OR SMOKING INSIDE YOUR ROOM Take off your shoes (keep your socks on) at the main door and carry your suitcases if they have wheels on it. Please don’t eat food or drink in your room (we have a nice big table in the living room for eating), and no smoking in the room as well. Sorry about this rule... but I had multiple bad experience about this issue in the past.

5. PAYING OPTIONS Il try to make all bookings as cheap as possible for low budget backpackers. I offer extra stuffs that will make your stay even better... like parking, food, breakfast, sauna, jaquzi, alcohol, laundry machine … it’s not included in the room price. There is a Tip box and credit card machine in the living room so you can pay by yourself if im not there... please pay what you used and make it possible for other guest who comes after you, so that I can still offer those things.

6. NO SELF SERVICE FOR SAUNA, POOL OR THE ALCOHOL ... tell me please if you would like to use or try it.

7. DONT BE SHY AND HIDE IN YOUR ROOM. We are all shy when we are in a new place, I know, but we allways have nice and friendly people in the house who like to chat. You can use almost everything in the house. Just ask me if you have any wishes or questions. I will try my best to make you feel at home as soon your are here.

These rules are simple, but very important for this house ... I want to make sure that every guest here has a nice and comfortable stay.

HOW TO GET HERE FROM LUZERN MAIN STATION
Free BusTickets ... Dont Walk up when you arrive ... If you want to walk its around 30 minutes, but mostly hill up.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
ATTENTION ONLY BUS TO "DATTENBERG" DONT TRUST YOUR MAPS APP.
Before 20:00 – Bus number 11 every half hour at XX:04, XX:34
After 20:00 – Bus number 10 every half hour at XX:02, XX:32 (last bus is 00:35 after midnight)
Get off at the last stop "DATTENBERG" (after 20:00 bus number 10 goes to "obergütsch" first then continues to dattenberg ... dont get off at obergütsch)
Then it's only a 2-minute walk DOWN then RIGHT then RIGHT again (check the picture on top) to the house.

Bus to go down to the city depart at XX:20 and XX:50 (number 11 or number 10) earliest Bus (monday-friday 05:34, saturday 05.49, sunday 6:49)

FOR PEOPLE WITH THE CAR
ONLY use google maps to navigate ... your car navigation will end up in the wrong place ... trust me and use the

FROM ZÜRICH AIRPORT
Trains on the ground floor of the Airport direction Zürich HB ... you need to change at Zürich HB to the train to Luzern ... best is use the mobile app of SBB.

CHECK IN
Just write your name in whatsapp to me directly when you arrived. Most of the time there will be someone in the house to let you in and show you your bed ... me, my friends or housemates. If not you have a display in the entrance ... please watch the video and check which bed you have booked.
If I'm not home, don't worry ... you can call me with the mobile phone behind the main door for any wishes or questions. You also can drop your luggage inside the living room if you arrive before 16:00. You also can check in early in the morning ... just make sure you don't wake up other people. Your room will be ready when there is a ricola on it.
When you call me, use whatsapp don't use normal phone call and roaming, because it is really expensiv in Switzerland.

CHECK OUT
Dont need to do anything for checkout. Just make sure you payed parking, spa, food, drinks or whatever you used by yourself in the kitchen at the payment terminal. If you want to leave your bags please put them in the livingroom and grab them later. No problem if you want to stay the hole day in the house. just make sure all your stuff is not on the bed at 11 am that we can change the bed sheets.

SOME TREATS FOR YOU

- FREE BUS TICKET AND GUEST CARD If you want a free bus ticket for all busses in the city, send me your info on Whatsapp in advance (your name, surname, check-in date). You also get discounts with this for cabelcars, boats and other tourist atraction . Also free wifi in the hole city.
- FREE WIFI There is free WIFI in the house named “Guest” and has no password. It’s 10 Gbit/s fast.
- PORTABEL WIFI  Take away Wifi 5 chf per day
- ELECTRIC SCOOTER - 15 chf per day
- ELECTRICITY CONVERTER are in the middle drawer under the schnapps. please put it back after use or pay 10chf if you want to keep it.
- EXTRA BLANKETS OR DIFFRENT PILLOWS in the closet downstairs or ask me.
- TOWELS are free to use and in the basement floor, in the closet next to the bathroom.
- 3 BATHROOMS if one is used you can of course use the other ones.
- LOCKERS are free and are downstairs.
- LIVINGROOM AND WINTERGARDEN is for everyone ... just hang out and feel home, but please keep quiet after 22:00 and in the morning.
- KITCHEN you can use everything ... open the cabinets to see what’s there ... also inside the fridge I labeled each section for each room. Write your name on the food with the marker.
- BREAKFAST & COFFEE MACHINE coffee, cereals, noodles, toast, and much more is in the kitchen, its not free but you can take it and pay by yourself on the payment terminal in the kitchen ... cost are simulare prices then in the grocery store.
- WATER in switzerland you can always drink tap water or refile your bottels at the public fountains.
- LOCAL VINE AND SCHNAPPS just ask me.
- LAUNDRYMACHINE AND DRYER 15 chf, just ask me.
- WORKPLACE if you need a desk and a chair in your room for work, just ask me.
- houseshoes/slippers you can borow in the closet at the main door.

- shampoos/showergel/hairdryer is all in the bathrooms.
